Activities

Take a River Boat Tour

One of the best ways to see and learn about the city is by boat! Check out tours offered by Wendella Cruises and the Chicago Architecture Center.

Visit the Art Institute of Chicago

A world class art museum right in the thick of downtown Chicago. Make sure to visit the Impressionist collection and the Thorne miniature rooms. You can always stop by Millennium Park and the newly renovated Bean statue.

Food

Lardon

The best sandwiches and charcuterie in the city! It's pretty popular, so if you're interested in going, we recommend a reservation.

Lula Cafe

Lula Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants which is why we're celebrating our wedding at their sister location, LouLou! Even so, it's worth stopping in for any meal. Lula pioneered farm to table dining in Chicago when they opened in 1999.

Webster's Wine Bar

The place we got engaged! We love their natural wine list, french fries, salad, and burger. If you leave room for dessert, try the chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (it comes with olive oil and sea salt). Good for a glass of wine, a meal, or both!
